The European Society of Applied Biocatalysis (ESAB) is organising a Digital Lecture on “Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering Tools & Methodologies” on Friday, 25th June 2021 at 10:00 – 12:00 CET.
The keynote speakers of the event include:
Prof. Dr. Gregory Stephanopoulos, Department of Chemical Engineering, MIT Cambridge, MA 02139, USA
Prof. Dr. Victor de Lorenzo, Environmental Synthetic Biology Laboratory, National Center for Biotechnology, Spanish National Research Council, Madrid
Prof. Dr. Paul Freemont, Centre for Synthetic Biology & Innovation, UK Innovation & Knowledge Centre for Synthetic Biology, Imperial College, London
Prof. Dr. Matthew Chang, NUS Synthetic Biology for Clinical and Technological Innovation and Wilmar‐NUS Corporate Laboratory, National University of Singapore
The event is being coordinated by our General Director, Frangiskos Kolisis, from the School of Chemical Engineering (National Technical University of Athens), Roland Wohlgemuth, chair of ESBA (Lodz University of Technology) and Willi Meier (DECHEMA).
About ESAB
The mission of ESAB is to promote the development of Applied Biocatalysis throughout Europe. Applied Biocatalysis is the development through science and engineering of useful biological catalysts and their commercial applications. ESAB, aims to take initiatives in areas of growing scientific and industrial interest and importance in the field of applied biocatalysis as well as identify key topics which may be rate-limiting in the development of scientific progress and technological prospects in applied biocatalysis and to take steps to stimulate these areas.
